Animal Companion Enamel Pin Miniatures

Hello Rangers!

This is a BIG update, so strap in. We're pleased to say that all of the pins, coins, and cards are nearing completion. We've actually received the coins and cards in the last two weeks. We have soooo many boxes.





Because of the way our card printer does orders, we have about 12,000 cards sitting in our living room at the moment. Luckily, they're small and only came in three large boxes. 



We're still waiting on the pins to arrive, but almost all of them are through the production line. There is a holiday in China coming up, but we're expecting to receive them sometime around the middle of October. As soon as we get them, we'll be preparing to ship. If all goes according to plan, we will be a solid 2 months ahead of schedule. 🎉

We'd also be remiss if we didn't actually show you some of the pin progress pics. Especially from the completed runs. We present to you now, the Big 'Ol Dragon, the phoenix, and the owl. 







ONE LAST THING
Alright! Before we go, we do have one last thing that we'd love your help on. Raymond has been busy designing the first few pins for the next campaign. Based on feedback from the survey of this campaign, we've decided to go into a slightly different direction. 

Has your party ever come across a goblin camp, only to walk out with a new goblin friend? You are in luck. We will be making kobolds, goblins, kenku, and all sorts of creatures for your party to fight and/or adopt. Yes, we are going with adopt.

We'd like some help with design choices and so we want to present to you our goblin!

A few notes:
1. This time around, every pin will share the same front base. That's still being designed. it saves us an enormous amount on mold fees. 
2. I'm currently thinking each creature type will have two pins associated with it. One cute/feral and one in more of a fighting stance. 
3. This poll won't be final, but we're curious to see which designs everyone likes the most so far.

We're excited to say that pin manufacturing is in full swing. We've received a few sample images from the factory already and wanted to share.

It's important to keep in mind that these versions of the pins do not have the final bit of metal plating around them. This means that some of the edges appear silver instead of black. OK! With that in mind, let's see some companions!

We're excited to share with you some initial pictures from the manufacturing. The coins are coming out first and so far, they're looking excellent! They've definitely got some heft to them.




Also, thank you to everyone who responded to the poll regarding Jimothy! We're going to plan on an additional campaign for Jimothy just as the poll results suggested. We're just working on fitting it in to our schedule.

I realize that we said *Checks Watch*... two days ago that we weren't going to have a raccoon as an add-on in the survey, but I feel like ever since then my feed has been flooded with Raccoons. Specifically, this raccoon. The internet has dubbed him Jimothy. Jimothy is a small little guy doing the best he can. He has short spine syndrome, giving him a distinct round appearance. 


So...Dear Rangers I must ask.

1. Would you like Jimothy as an animal companion added to your survey as an unlockable add-on? 
2. Should we do a "Make 100 campaign" just for the singular pin?



Let us know in the comments and in the poll below. Regardless of the results, we will also be doing a second raccoon pin during the next campaign. The poll will be open until end of day Sunday EST and we'll officially add (or not add) the pin to the survey then with another announcement.

Hello Rangers!

A quick update to let everyone know that the surveys are on the way. Y'all are fast since it looks like 14% of you have already filled it out! Thank you to everyone who got that initial smoke test and helped us work out some of the bugs. If you have any questions regarding the survey, please don't hesitate to reach out. 

A few people have asked about the Raccoon and we did decide not to make it unlockable during the add-on/survey period. That being said, we will make sure the raccoon is available for the next campaign. 

We'll also be collecting suggestions from everyone on what pins they would like to see next. Reading through the suggestions so far, a lot of you are looking to adopt mimics. Completely valid, but also slightly concerning. Are your characters safe from treasure?
